My name is Kirsty Greer and I am a textile artist from Northern Ireland. 

I am inspired by floral and fauna which I base my work on. My main textile specialisms are embroidery (both hand and machine) as well as mixed media work.  My work is aimed for  nature lovers and who have an appreciation for the time-consuming beauty of embroidery! I love using upcycled materials, which I source from charity shops or friends/family, which I dye and stitch into.

 

I started this business while studying for my textile degree, here I make and sell my own crafts. Poppystitchcrafts is named after my beloved dog 'Poppy' who you may see featured a couple of times on my Instagram!

This website is like a portfolio featuring all my art work throughout my degree as well as in my spare time. Its like a blog with photos, inspirations and information about each piece.
